Frontline doctors urge tighter Covid-19 measures
Frontline doctors are urging the government to plug the gaps in its Covid-19 response. The Colleges of Emergency Medicine, General Practioners, and Urgent Care have signed a joint statement welcoming the swift response to the current outbreak, while pointing out other areas where our health system is not meeting international best practice. Dr Samantha Murton, the head president of the Royal New Zealand College of GPs, told Mani Dunlop it was important to keep focusing on protecting the most vulnerable groups.
