The Government has announced a multi-million dollar investment to transform and restore the east coast's Raukumara forest, which is being destroyed by pests and predators.
Raukumara Pae Maunga, a partnership between iwi and the Department of Conservation, will receive $34 million for pest control and to contribute to habitat and species recovery.
