Business leaders come together on Auckland's economic woes

From Midday Report, 12:15 pm on 5 August 2020

The Mayor of Auckland, Phil Goff, has told business leaders the city needs to find ways to stimulate the economy with closed - or largely closed - borders.

He's one of several people who've spoken at a summit being held today by the Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development agency, which is predicting as many as 50-thousand Aucklanders could end up out of work due to the pandemic.

Nita Blake-Persen was at the summit and spoke to Māni Dunlop.
