Microsoft is in talks to buy part of the Chinese social media app TikTok - including the app's New Zealand arm.
The US President Donald Trump has warned he will ban the app unless the sale to Microsoft goes ahead by September the 15th, because it's a a threat to national security due to the data it gathers from users.
