Plans to repeal and replace the Resource Management Act

An independent review of the Resource Management Act has found the key environmental law should be repealed and replaced with new legislation.

The panel was led by the retired Court of Appeal judge Tony Randerson QC, who told Māni Dunlop the Act had grown unwieldy.
