Islamic women's council releases Royal Commission submission

The Islamic Women's Council's submissions to the Royal Commission of Inquiry into the Christchurch Mosque Attacks outlines how the Government had multiple opportunities to establish protections for the Muslim community, before the shootings took place.

The Council this morning publicly released its submissions to the commission, which has been investigating whether state agencies are doing all they can to protect the public from terror attacks. 

It is due to report back to the Governor-General at the end of the month.
