A returning New Zealander in managed isolation at the Rydges Hotel in Auckland is stunned that the Ministry of Health had no plans to test her, or anyone else in the facility, before today.

Jessie Phelan and her husband arrived in Auckland last Tuesday, the day it became mandatory to test everyone in managed isolation on day three and day 12 of their stay.
But Ms Phelan says when she started asking why no testing had taken place, she found out there had been no intention by officials to test anyone at the facility.
She spoke to Māni Dunlop.
