ARTs responded to several incidents with children

The controversial police Armed Response Teams were used to deal with six incidents involving 12 year-olds during their six-month trial - almost all of whom were Māori.

The teams were officially scrapped this week, but documents show the armed units were called out to several incidents involving children while they were in action.
