The Police Minister, Stuart Nash, has described the Black Lives Matter protests held at the weekend as irresponsible.
Thousands turned out in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington yesterday to protest the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
Mr Nash says the flouting of physical distancing rules at the events was disappointing.
