Ak Council forced to make tough choices in emergency budget

Auckland Council is considering asset sales, busting its debt limits, reducing services, investment and staff numbers in response to the pandemic's hit to its books.

The Council expects revenue to be down by $525 million for the next year. 

It has just released a consultation document on its emergency budget.
