The Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, has defended the Budget against criticisms it does not lay out a long term plan for New Zealand in the post-Coviod economic landscape.
In a speech to Business NZ this morning, Ms Ardern said the Government was optimistic about the economy bouncing back fairly quickly.
