NZ distillers struggling as sales fall 85%

New Zealanders would - under normal circumstances - often head out for a drink to mark the end of their working week.

But with bars and restaurants currently closed, the government's Health Promotion Agency has found a lot of people are drinking less than normal - or not at all..

The hardest hit sector is New Zealand's distillers, with spirit sales estimated to be down about 85 percent.
