Aucklanders may have enjoyed the sound of rain on their roofs over the weekend but Watercare is warning the severe drought is far from over.
Water storage levels dropped to less than 50 per cent this month - dipping under the halfway mark for the first time since the 1994 drought. But the wet weekend has done little to ease the pressure on the city's water storage lake levels.
