A loan scheme to assist small to medium businesses set to be announced today, could be the answer to the cashflow problems faced by the sector.
The Small Business Cashflow Scheme was part of the Covid-19 response legislation passed under urgency in the House yesterday -- though details are scarce, and are expected to be fleshed out this afternoon.
Small businesses have been consistently calling for further support, with the wage subsidy scheme only going so far, and government tax breaks only benefiting some.
