Police admit quaratine checks not up to promised level

The Police Commissioner has been questioned on whether the police's Covid-19 enforcement priorities are right, after admitting they failed to follow up with people returning from overseas.

Mike Bush told the Epidemic Response Committee police were not initially able to carry out the level of checks on people supposed to be in strict self-isolation, that had been promised by the Government.
