Pukaha

The National Wildlife Centre Pukaha in the northern Wairarapa opens its new educational and cultural complex Te Wananga Taiao today. The centre includes a marae, wharenui, wharekai, accommodation facilities and even a hangi pit. Pukaha has been working closely with tangata whenua Rangitane on the project. Pokere Paewai went along to check out the progress.
