The man who has tested positive for Covid-19 travelled between Auckland and Coromandel, returning two days ago - and has been praised for scanning continuously throughout the trip.
That scanning has meant officials were able to pin down 23 locations of interest, 13 of them in Coromandel.The Thames Coromandel Mayor Sandra Goudie was off the grid and only heard about the lockdown listening to the radio
