New Zealand has joined a chorus of US allies in blaming some cyber-attacks on China's state security ministry. Earlier in the year there were cyber attacks on a small number of New Zealand organisations including the Waikato DHB. The multi-country group is blaming those cyber-attacks of China's state security ministry. Dr Jason Young from Victoria University of Wellington who researches the Chinese economy and society, explains how significant it is.
