World Asteroid Day in the southern skies

From Lately, 10:30 pm on 30 June 2021

It's World Asteroid Day! Since the first discovery of asteroids in the 1800s they've been a constant source of fascination for astronomers and watchers of the sky. One of those people staring at the night sky is the director of the Otago Museum Dr Ian Griffin.
