The Rest Is History: Celebrating the first woman to swim across Cook Strait

On this day back in 1975, then 17-year-old Lynne Cox became the first woman to swim across Cook Strait from North to South Island.

Tonight, Lynne speaks with Karyn Hay from her home in Long Beach, California about what she remembers of the 12 hour swim that day and her long distance elite swimming since, as well as the latest books Lynne's writing and her motivation speaking including how best to respond to daily life during the coronavirus pandemic.
