Britain resists another nationwide lockdown

Boris Johnson is fighting the possibility of another national lockdown, saying it would have "disastrous" financial consequences. In the past 24 hours, cases in the UK increased by almost four thousand, taking the total to just over three hundred and 78 thousand. A further 20 people had died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19.
