From Lately, 10:29 pm on 25 August 2020

A petition's been presented to Parliament calling on the Government to directly help out the hospitality industry.

The Restaurant Association says 12 per cent of hospitality businesses are anticipating closing their businesses for good in the next 30 days.

Their petition asks the government to adopt a scheme similar to one that's in place in the UK called 'Eat Out to Help Out'. The Restaurant Association's chief executive is Marisa Bidois.
