The BBC's Robert Hugh-Jones discusses the impact of Covid-19 on the annual muslim pilgrimage the Hajj, as well as a high profile murder case in Russia, and the potential exodus of people from Hong Kong responding to China's new national security law.

This picture taken during of Eid al-Fitr, which starts at the conclusion of Ramadan, shows the Grand Mosque and Kaaba in Mecca. Saudi Arabia began a five-day, round-the-clock curfew from May 23 after COVID-19 infections soared since the start of Ramadan to around 68,000.
