Waikato Hospital is experiencing an influx of patients with nearly all of its 650 beds full because of a high number of elderly patients and sick children. The hospital wants people with non-urgent conditions to first go to their GP or a chemist instead of its Emergency Department. Waikato Hospital's Chief Operating Officer, Ron Dunham, speaks with Karyn about what people should do as the weekend approaches.
