Dame Margaret Sparrow's legacy

Dame Margaret Sparrow trained as a doctor, opened New Zealand's first abortion clinic and vasectomy clinic, introduced the emergency contraceptive pill, and was one of the first women in the country to try the oral contraceptive pill.

As Cabinet prepares to consider a bill that would remove abortion from the Crimes Act, Dame Margaret speaks with Karyn about New Zealand's history of reproductive healthcare.
