Does a Christian Conservative party have a chance?

National MP Alfred Ngaro confirmed today that he is contemplating setting up a Christian values political party. If he were to do so, it could give the National party a potential coalition partner going into the 2020 election. But is there room for such a party in New Zealand political landscape? And more importantly, would there be enough support for the party to reach the 5% threshold?
