Sudan President Omar al-Bashir steps down

Reuters have reported Mr al-Bashir had stepped down ahead of an announcement from the Sudanese Army. Protests against Mr al-Bashir, who has governed Sudan for 30 years since 1989, have been under way since December. We talk to Reem Abbas is a freelance journalist and communications consultant based in Sudan and she joins me now.
