10:18 Peace negotiations bring hope for Ukraine
Peace talks continue between Russia and Ukraine as Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said a neutral military status for Ukraine was being "seriously discussed" by the two sides and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russia's demands for ending the war were becoming "more realistic". CNN Correspondent Salma Abdelaziz updates Karyn on the latest developments.

10:25 Salaries could be compulsory in job adverts
Parliament's Education and Workforce select committee has recommended the Government should make it compulsory for employers to reveal starting salaries in job advertisements. The policy was pushed forward by the Council of Trade Unions in a submission to the committee late last year. Chief Executive of BusinessNZ Kirk Hope believes the recommended measures are unnecessary.

10:35 Three-year-old girl attacked by kangaroo in NSW
A kangaroo attacked a 3 year old girl near Armidale in New South Wales Northern Tablelands yesterday. The Westpac Rescue Helicopter rushed to the scene along with a critical care doctor and two paramedics to treat severe lacerations to her head, back and arm. Joining Karyn to explain how this could have happened is Associate Professor Graeme Coulson who specialises in kangaroo behaviour, from the University of Melbourne.
