10:20 New South Wales' covid crisis deepens

In New South Wales they're in the middle of a Covid-19 crisis: 356 new cases found in the 24 hours to 8:00pm last night, and three more deaths.  Twenty-nine people have died from Covid-19 in the state. Tim Swanston is one of the ABC's designated 'red zone' reporters - he's been covering the Delta outbreak since day one - heading into the worst hit communities.

10:45 Hamilton local collecting old gadgets to donate to Philippine students in need

Ronan Yabut is asking New Zealanders to consider donating old technology to a good cause instead of throwing it away. Laptops are at the top of his list as he wants to send as many as he can back home to COVID-stricken Philippines to help students who are unable to attend school.
