Parliament adjourns for the weekend, with Leader of the House Gerry Brownlee signalling what will be on the Government's agenda for the week ahead; Finance Minister Bill English kicks off the final stage of
the Budget debate - which is set down for 3 hours; The Taxation (Business Tax, Exchange of Information, and Remedial Matters) Bill - which, in part, aims to address concerns about tax havens - passes
its first reading by 108 votes to 12, with only New Zealand First opposed; Reserve Bank Governor Graeme Wheeler announces a lowering of the Official Cash Rate to 2.0% - a move which is the subject of questions in the committee rooms and chamber.
