The world has watched transfixed as the people have tested their power in the streets of the Middle East. First in Tunisia and now in Egypt, mass movements, led mainly by the young, have brought the countries to a standstill demanding an end to dictatorship and a new era of freedom. We speak to Mohsen al Attar, an Egyptian who lectures in law at the University of Auckland, and Mohamed Ali Jaballah, a Tunisian student in New Zealand.
