East Coast artist Tawera Tahuri is the first Maori ever to exhibit at the prestigious Florence Biennale. The symposium exhibits over two thousand-500 pieces of work by hundreds of invited artists from all over the world. Tahuri is an arts lecturer and mother of six from a small township just north of Gisborne, and she spoke with He Rourou producer Ana Tapiata about the Italian trip and her unique exhibition.
