We've established that human naming systems are infinitely complex - but what about the animal world? It turns out that we're not the only ones to use names. Dolphins have individual names as well. Amelia Nurse talks to Dr Rochelle Constantine, Senior Tutor at the School of Biological Sciences, University of Auckland, about their "signature whistles", name recognition and how much we really understand about their communication systems.
