It's been a tough year for the Labour Party leader Phil Goff. Labour has struggled in nationwide opinion polls all year, consistently trailing National by a substantial margin. But Mr Goff believes Labour is well positioned to challenge the Government next year and in 2011 when the country goes to the polls again. He talked to our political editor Brent Edwards and started by giving his view of the past 12 months.
