Spectator banned from cricket games could become an ambassador

From Five O'clock Report, 5:09 pm on 14 January 2020

The Race Relations Commissioner Meng Foon has suggested a spectator banned from cricket games for verbally abusing a player could become an ambassador for the commission. Cricket New Zealand today announced the man was banned from going to matches for two years after he hurled racist abuse at England player Jofra Archer at a match in Mount Maunganui in November. Now, Meng Foon says he's keen to meet up with the man, and maybe even work with him to help spread the word that racism is not ok.
