An investigation has been launched into the death of a great white shark after witnesses reported it was kicked and dragged while others tried to rescue it. The juvenile shark was caught in a fishing net off Orewa Beach in northern Auckland yesterday and died despite beachgoers' attempts to help. Matthew Theunissen reports.
