A US airstrike on Baghdad airport ordered by President Donald Trump has killed a top Iranian general Qassem Soleimani and Iraqi militia commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis. The Pentagon says Soleimani was actively developing plans to attack Americans in Iraq and the Middle East. Kim Savage speaks to RNZ's Washington correspondent Jagruti Dave.
