NSW and Victoria in states of emergency

Victoria and New South Wales are in states of emergency as the worst bush fires in living memory continue to rage. At least eighteen people have died, eight since Monday and thousands of people have either lost or are having to flee their homes. On Saturday, weather conditions are expected to deteriorate significantly, raising the fire danger to unprecedented levels. Kim Savage speaks to the ABC's Helen Frost.
