Corrections Falling Short of Cutting Reoffending

Corrections says its falling short of its target of cutting reoffending by prisoners. In 2012 the department set a goal of reducing reoffending by 25 percent by 2017. Corrections' Director of Programmes and Interventions Ben Clark says progress has slowed but he rejects suggestions the rehabilitation programmes are failing.
