NZ Samoans facing sombre Christmas pray and fundraise
Samoans in Auckland are bracing themselves for a sombre Christmas as the measles death toll continues to rise in their homeland. More than a hundred people gathered in Mangere last night to pray and to collect medical supplies to send back home. The meeting was organised by Teleiai Edwin Puni, who is the chairman of the ASA Foundation Trust, a Pasifika group fundraising for Samoa. He told our reporter Jessie Chaing that people are having a tough time.
