Julian Goulding needed a change of lifestyle.

He was working for a city architecture firm and his 40 hour a week job had blown out to 70 or 80 hours

So he moved to Taumarunui and has swapped his work gear for a t-shirt and bare feet.

Julian is working with his father taking trampers and cyclists to the Timber Trail in the Pureora Forest.

He's also started a custom-made bow tie business in Taumarunui, designs websites for Taumarunui businesses, works with students at the local high school and hopes to set up a glamping site.

He says he's never been happier.
