Family thank driver who got savaged daughter to doctor

The Japanese family of a girl savaged by dogs in the Bay of Plenty has thanked the driver of a red car who helped get her to a doctor. They had a statement read out at a news conference held at Middlemore hospital this afternoon to let people know how seven year-old Sakurako Uehara is doing.
