A panel of media specialists is to look for any political bias on TVNZ's Te Karere programme and other Maori output; An iwi in the Gisborne district is again seeking mandate from its people so it can finally negotiate a multi-million treaty package with the Crown - more than two decades after lodging tribal grievances; A Maori rights movement based in Australia will be holding peaceful rallies in five major cities on Wednesday to raise awareness of what they describe as unjust laws that discriminate against New Zealanders; Te Taura Whiri i Te Reo Maori - The Maori Language Commission is focussing on licensing Te Reo translators, who will specialise in subjects about education.
