Labour says Solid Energy deal too little too late

The Labour Party says taxpayers will foot the bill for Solid Energy's restructure, when it is the Government's fault that the state coal miner is in financial trouble. The Government has reached a deal with the four major banks to cut the debt burden of the troubled state-owned coal miner, Solid Energy.
