Iwi in Bay of Plenty are not convinced that leaving what remains of the container ship Rena on Astrolabe reef off the coast of Tauranga, won't pose a risk to the marine environment; Meanwhile the Forum Chairman, Te Awanui Black, says it's inevitable that if the insurers do leave the Rena wreck where it is, iwi could well take the matter to the Environment Court; An organisation opposed to the partial sale of state owned enterprise is continuing its fight - despite the Supreme Court dismissing a legal challenge over water rights by Maori groups this week; The South Island iwi - Ngai Tahu - has finalised a tribal management plan, which will help local councils to make environmental decisions.
