Fire investigators have been picking over the charred remains of a sales office belonging to Maori land owners in the Far North; A Maori leader from Central Hawke's Bay says the regional council's plan for a two hundred and 20 million water storage project in the area, will be of major benefit to Maori; A long standing member of the Onuku Marae runanga on Banks Peninsular would like to see the historic Takapuneke Reserve near Akaroa, revert to its natural state; A Ruapehu iwi says it's already planning ahead - beyond its Treaty settlement - and is developing a strategy to ensure the tribe is in a very prosperous position in generations and centuries to come.
