The Environment Court has received an application opposing consent for a new refuse transfer station in Rotorua;  Te Papa museum plans to provide ongoing support for a Horowhenua iwi, to help maintain its treasures which are now on display at the new cultural and community centre in Levin;  The chair of Te Runanga o Ngai Tahu, says 14 years on from the iwi's Treaty settlement, its assets are valued at almost one billion dollars.
