The Waitangi Tribunal has agreed to a Government request to release a shortened version of a report about Maori water rights and the partial sales of four state owned energy companies, before the end of the month; A Tauranga iwi says the Government's request for the Waitangi Tribunal to report a month earlier than it intended, undermines what the iwi teaches its children to do about respecting the law; The Ministry for Primary Industries is keen that Maori agribusinesses all over New Zealand take an interest in a fund designed to promote the sustainable use of resources; Te Kupenga which is the National Network of Stopping Violence and Abuse in Maori families, says its success is only limited by the resources it can call on.
