Ligar Bay resident flees home to escape flood waters

Dozens of people have had to flee their homes in the Nelson Tasman region with record rainfall and more than 170 slips threatening houses blocking major roads and cutting off towns. In Ligar Bay, Neil Batten and his wife Liz had seconds to get out of their house - along with other terrified residents.
