Over the weekend the Rotorua Council is hosting descendants of a woman whom the mayor says was a national tourism pioneer; About a hundred and 50 people including the Maori Anglican Bishop in Bay of Plenty, Ngarahu Katene, are expected to attend centennial celebrations tomorrow at St Matthew's church north west of Taupo; The Whanganui Maori activist, Ken Mair, says he's heading into a celebrity boxing match against former mayor, Micheal Laws, confident of winning the fight.
